Ability to Mark Reservations without Rooms Assigned as Red-Eye
Stay is enhanced to allow users to mark reservations that do not have a room assigned as red- eye reservations. Previously, users had to mandatorily assign a room to reservations to mark them as red-eye.
This enhancement also allows users to release the room assigned to a red-eye reservation.
Users can continue to mark reservations in the following statuses as red-eye:
-
Reserved
-
Arriving
-
In-house
To support this enhancement, the following changes have been made:
-
The following message that appears in the Update Red-Eye Arrival pop-up screen when users mark as reservation without room assigned as red-eye has been removed: Room assignment is required for red-eye arrival.
-
The following message that appears in the Release Room pop-up screen when users release the room assigned to a red-eye reservation has been removed: Room assignment is mandatory for Red-Eye reservation.
-
In the Red-Eye tab of the Batch Operations screen, the information icon that displays the following message when hovered upon for reservations that do not have a room assigned has been removed: Room assignment is mandatory. The red-eye arrival reservation will be marked as No Show during the date roll on the arrival date when a room is not assigned.
